Enola Holmes: The Case of the Missing Marquess

When Enola Holmes (younger sister of Sherlock himself) discovers that her mother has disappeared on (on Enola's birthday, unfortunately), she knows she must find her mother by herself. So she disguises herself as a depressed widow and escapes from her shrewd older brother to a place where excitement begins-London. She suddenly finds herself smack-dab in the center of a mystery: the case of the kidnapping of the young Lord Tewksbury, Marquess of Basilwether. Now Enola has 2 cases on her hands: the disappearance of her mother, and the whereabouts of the Lord Tewksbury (which may very well put the lord and Enola's lives in danger). This thrilling mystery by Nancy Springer is hard to put down and is well worth the read. Welcome to Victorian London in 1888 where mystery, intrigue, and danger await!
